I only recall one traumatizing haircut in my life, back when the Heather Locklear “feathered” look was the trend. I was bitter, cried and wore a hat for days! Fortunately, I’ve recovered and am now a girl that easily tires of having the same look. Presently, I’m a very bold and oh-so-sassy shade of red.
Richard Nicholas has been my trusted salon for years. The studio is 2-floors of modern, sleek and streamlined design (much like their hair). The color palette is grey, silver and black with an occasional pop of colorful fresh-cut flowers. There are spotlights, tiled walls, mirrors, televisions and silver fans throughout. Typically, the music playing is soothing, yet upbeat lounge.

Owner, Nick Berardi, is a master of the art, his precision is impeccable and cuts are like no other. Joe Matteo is simply a color genius. I always let him decide what we’ll do next and love the reveal of his creations. Watching them work is mesmerizing, their perfectionism is something I truly appreciate, especially when it comes to my hair.
