What can I say, like most girls, I always love a new pair of shoes. I think it started with a pair of ultra cute sneakers my parents bought me as a child. It didn’t matter where I was - I refused to take them off!
Unlike Carrie Bradshaw, I can’t afford an entire collection of Monolo’s just yet. But, for an endless selection for girls on a budget, I found paradise at MJM Designer Shoes, located just 15 minutes outside of the city.
MJM has infinite rows, upon rows of shoes in every style and for any occasion (as if a big event is necessary). Franco Sarto and Nine West have been some favorites I found at half the price. On an extra lucky day, you can even find designer names such as Coach, Gucci and D&G. They restock everyday and the staff leaves you to browse the aisles at your own pace, to try on every shoe that catches your eye.
Prices generally range from $25-$125, but be sure to check out their clearance section for even bigger steals. MJM also has locations in other fashionable areas, including CA, NJ and NY.
When I need a new pair of kitten heels to either celebrate or boost my spirits, MJM is my hidden heaven…for those of us that can never have too many shoes.
Tip: MJM is one shop the man in your life won’t mind tagging along for, they have a great men’s selection as well!
