Foster’s Urban Homeware
Having recently moved into a new apartment, I’m all about decorating my space and yearning to replace everything I own with something new. Maybe because it’s a fresh start or it could be that there are too many beautiful choices out there. Either way, it’s fun to shop around and check out new decorating ideas and inspirations.
Foster’s Urban Homeware is one of the coolest places to find everything you’ll need for your urban (or suburban) dwelling. They are artistically packed from floor to ceiling with home goods, in a fashionable and energetic space. The walls are painted bright orange and green and upbeat, cheerful music plays in the background.
This Old City store is street meets chic (meets my home please)! They carry everything one would need to live beautifully, from sleek silverware sets, books about design, pieces by Umbra and colorful dishware by Iittala, to CD’s, modern picture frames, funky lighting, sleek furniture and endless accessories for kitchen and bath.
The home goods they sell are urban, current and well designed. Foster’s is a great place to buy some interesting and useful pieces to add character and really make your home your own. Keep in mind - Foster’s is a fabulous store for unique housewarming gifts too!
Tip: They also have a Foster’s Gourmet Cookware store in the Reading Terminal Market for you or your friends that like to chef it up. If you’re not coming to Philly soon, you can visit their online store and pick up a new piece to spice up your home.
