Let me start by saying that I do not eat fish, so I had no business being at the beautiful restaurant Crustacean in Beverly Hills the other day. However, when I heard about its famous garlic noodles and under-floor koi pond, I had to see what all the fuss was about.
The term “Euro-Asian fusion” is thrown around pretty lightly in this town, but Crustacean really finds an interesting crossroads between European and Asian cuisine. We’re talking curious traces of, dare I say, Parmesan cheese? Mixed in a tofu vegetable stir fry?
Gasp.
Exhale.
It was delightful.
The award-winning architecture features a koi stream that runs through the restaurant so watch your step as you get transported to a few different far away lands at Crustacean, Beverly Hills…
