We're Girls Guide to City Life - women reporters from around the world who adore our cities so much, we write about them and share our secrets with you. We go from fancy dinners to dives, love a thrift store find and splurge on something grand, too. We promise to always tell the truth - if we don't like it, we won't talk about it. If it's not someplace we want to be it's not some place you do. After all, us girls have to stick together.

Pretty Girl You look great, my dear, but we both know you can't do it on your own. Between being fabulous about town, hitting all the greatest shops and restaurants, and being a rock star at what you do, who has the time? These geniuses of beauty, body, and soul will make sure you're ready for your close-up, whether it's for your next movie or your next date.

Famished Girl Hunger pangs? There's no reason for them! Big cities are meccas of fabulous cuisine - as testified from our more than full bellies. From French cafes to Mexican burrito joints we've got both vegetarians and steak knifers alike covered. Save the supermodel diets, and enjoy big city eats.

Fancy Girl Step outside your money comfort zone and splurge on these majorly luxe treats. If you can't fork over the cash, you can at least "pet the pretty things" as Alex would say. Dreams can come true, but until they do, pretend you're Cinderella for a day. Prada or Manolo Blahnik just might have a glass slipper out this season.

Active Girl Take a walk, a drive, a swim, a yogilates class...you were made for moving girl, so get out there. Big Cities and their surrounding little cities are filled with bike trails, national parks, and rock hard gyms to get your arse in gear. Get out and get going.

Travelin' Girl We love where we live, but we all need to get away sometimes - even if it's just within our own city. After all, this is the place for fabulous hotels, limo services and pampering.
